Shelly Schultz's Suprise for husband Bill

One of the last things on the list was the interior; however a lot of loose ends needed finished up before any threads were sewn. If one looks closely, you’ll notice a very subtle six point roll cage; all fabbed up by Greg Budreau. An E-Z Wire wiring kit and Alpine stereo system was owner installed. Next Schultz contacted Jose at Miranda’s Custom Upholstery in Lafayette to cover the interior with sandstone colored Ultraleather material while custom beige carpet brings it all together. A GT steering wheel sits on top of a custom tilt steering column while a set of Dolphin gauges fill a billet aluminum insert to finish out the dash.

Bill is very greatful for the huge surprise that Shelly gave him for his 40th Birthday. Also not mentioned until now, Bill's brother, Pat Schultz, was very instrumental in the building of this project. Many days you would find Pat burning the late mid-night oil right along side his brother and good friend Greg.

With the little ole Nova completed and now on the road again, its time for Bill and Shelly to get out and have some fun. With the determination, love and support that Shelly has for her husband, they are now able to enjoy their ride with all the hard work and late hours, along with everyone else’s help who made their dream a reality. After many years of missing in action, this ’65 shoe box was once lost but now found, and finally “it’s back home where it belongs”.
