The suspension was basically left stock except for the front end being dropped 2" and with the addition of V-8 springs in the rear. Monroe shocks were installed all the way around to handle the rough bumps in the road. Dan saw where a new braking system was in order, so a complete braking kit from SSBC was installed. The conversion kit included 11" rotors, four piston calipers, a dual master cylinder, brake lines, and a proportioning valve. To finish out the chassis, 15" x 6" Ansen aluminum slot wheels were placed in all four corners, trimmed out in Cooper tires. The stock 200 c.i. inline 6 cylinder was retained, cleaned up and painted. A Dynamax exhaust system with a turbo muffler was installed to give the little pony a better sound. The Ford C4 tranny motivates power to the stock differential and then onto the rear wheels.
