“Affordable Fun”

Ellie's 70 Maverick back 3/4

Last on the list was the interior for the 70 Maverick, which was all handled by Ellie’s father, James. Her seats were donated from a 1965 Mustang wrapped in vinyl. Simple black loop carpet took care of the floor. The rest of the interior was all stock and freshened up, such as the door panels, dash, insert and gauges including the stock air conditioner. Topping off the steering column is a Ford 3 spoke sport wheel. A Sony head unit plays the rockin tunes for Miss Ellie as she cruises down the road.

In the end all Ellie wanted was an affordable fun simple car. We met Ellie back before she had her permit and saw her grow into this wonderful young lady, who just happens to be into cars. We are sure that Ellie’s father, uncle, and she are really stoked that they were able to build the hot rod of her dreams. Today when you see and talk to 17 year old Ellie you know she is definitely having affordable fun. What a beautiful 70 Maverick Miss Ellie has to drive to the shows and once at her destination, cruise the grounds. As we stated at the beginning, Ellie wanted an affordable car with the right modifications that would interest people and make a statement. We say mission completed Miss Ellie! Thank you hun for sharing your story!
