SEMA 2015

Las Vegas, Nevada
Las Vegas Convention Center

  • The SEMA Show took place at the Las Vegas Convention Center, which is located on Paradise Road. This show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. Because of the type of show, a trade event only, it is not open to the general public.

The SEMA Show draws builders, manufacturers, vendors, etc. Basically those who are involved in the creating, selling, buying, and using aftermarket parts in the building process of a vehicles. This year the show drew more than 60,000 domestic and international buyers.

The displays are divided down into 12 sections along with a New Products Showcase featuring nearly 2,500 newly introduced parts, tools, and components. Not only does the SEMA Show provide the access to the afore mentioned attendees also have the opportunity to partake in educational seminars, special events, product demonstrations, networking opportunities and more.

This year beginning on Tuesday, the start of the show, we saw an overwhelming amount of people in attendance. The floors were covered with people like ants converging on food. It was nice to see, however, for us media a tad bit difficult to get to our required events. Those that attended this year saw a surge in growth for the Show by the amount of change seen by the new companies in attendance.

We spoke to a SEMA worker who told us that we see change this year, well he said to hold on because in the next two years there will be a huge change with the SEMA Show. We tried to find out more, however, he had his lips zipped closed tight. We did mentioned that we saw where the Riveria Hotel had signs boarded up all over with is posted SEMA Convention coming soon to the Riveria. We knew something was going on since the hotel was not open and the lights we used to see at night was no longer lighting the night sky. He only acknowledged what we saw on the boarded up Riveria Hotel is part of that change. We know something new is on the edge for the show in the next two years and we look forward to see what the transformation will be for the organization. For those of you that are a manufacturer, seller, buyer, builder, etc that have never attended this huge trade event you need to at come to the show one time to see what is really happening in the automotive market world wide.
