The Detroit Autorama show in 2014 made the 62nd anniversary for this event. Wow what an accomplishment! This made our 10th year attending this spectacular event. An attendee can see anything from the elite car to the rockabilly theme in the basement. There is definitely something for all who come to the show. You have an huge variety of builders, vendors, technical schools, plus the big three car manufacaturers debuting the current models. If there is any show that a builder dreams of capturing an award it is here for the Ridler. There have been several esteem builders plus up and coming ones that have won this coveted award. When I think of those builders these are just a few since we have been attending the event that come to mind: Chip Foose, Rad Rides by Troy, Paul Atkins, Alan Johnson, Jesse Greening, Andy Leach, and the current winner J F Launier, just to name a few. Besides the top cars vying for the Ridler and the Rockabilly scene a person can find many other types of builds from hot rods, street rods, drag racing, muscle cars, customs, and original restoration, etc. On the following pages enjoy just a small glimse into what we thought was interesting. Maybe this will be enough to entice you to attend the show for 2015 from March 6th - 8th.
