Renee's Ride

"A gift she'll never forget"

Starting on the body next, the ole five window received many modifications, including all the wood inside being replaced with steel, suicide doors, a one piece hood, shaved handles, custom roll pan, electric windows and trunk release, along with Harley tail light cutouts and emblems, and a one piece windshield, just to name a few. Once everything was perfectly smooth it was time to squirt on the beautiful PPG orange glow painted over silver, all handled by Allen Pearson.

Inside you'll be greeted by a custom smoothed steel dash with a Harley shaped chrome insert filled with Auto Meter gauges, and an Ididit steering column topped off with a Lecarra wheel. Other nice features are an A/C unit by Vintage Air, plus a Pioneer stereo and speakers installed by Anything Audio out of New Orleans, La. The seats were saved from a '90 Camaro wrapped in a cream colored leather as is the rest of the interior. Again the Harley theme was carried out on the inside as well as the outside. You'll notice the raised Harley Davidson logo on the door panels with the letters HD embroidered on them along with the seats and also into the trunk. The Harley theme was executed very well throughout the whole car and done tastefully. There is no doubt that a lot of thought went into the building of this '36 and the finished product speaks for itself. We have to agree that the builder is a very talented individual and can be proud to say the least. As for Renee, she can also be proud and excited to own such a piece of craftsmanship. We have to admit, change can be a good thing and it has been very good for the Cravens, so Renee we have just one thing to say " Welcome to Louisiana Baby".
