(1) Plenty of fun is had by those who cruise the grounds when their feet are tired. (2) Al Adam's daughter is getting a jump start in the car show scene. She is busy cleaning her car just like dad does to his awesome 64 Impala wagon. (3) We caught Rhonda Reynolds from Alexandria MN cleaning up her's and husband's Bob nice '31 Ford 5 window coupe.

(16) Gary Bradford's granddaughter, Starla with boyfriend Ryan had their turn cruising the grounds in Gary's '23 283 C.I. Powerglide Ford T-Bucket. (17) Gary is a lifer in the hot rodding industry. He now brings his cars to the Goodguys Iowa show for his grandchildren to drive around the Des Moines IA State Fair grounds. (18) Gary Bradford is pictured here in front of his '31 Ford Coupe with his great nephew Trevor, granddaughter Starla, and Starla's boyfriend Ryan. Gary's coupe has a 390 Ford-FMX-Auto cradled between the frame rails.

(25 - 27) Cruising is always the norm at the Heartland Nationals.
(28) Mark and Doreen Schlabaugh cruised on over from Kalona IA in their eye popping '50 Ford Woodie. (29) Best Ride on Intro Wheels is what Nancy and Rich Mutert from Foristell MO received with their 60 Olds 98 sporting a BB 394 C.I./auto. (30) Sharon Petrone out of Wellman IA was having fun all weekend long with her 29 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup.
(31) The names on this vehicle represent our armed forces past and present who served our country to protect our freedom. We salute you and thank you for your sacrifices! (32) These three gals demonstrate the fun that can be had at the Goodguys Heartland Nationals. All three of them hale from the good ole state of Nebraska and belong to the Rebels Auto Club from Lincoln NE. Two of them serve as secretary and newsletter editor. (33) Cruising in a rat rod...these gals know how to have fun...
(34) This is what all of us enjoy passing down ... the sport of hot rodding to the younger generation! (35) This is one hot engine compartment... nice flame job! (36) When your go power leaves you...your friends are always there to give a helping hand.
(37) Dale & Gail Hodges - 72 Mustang 351C / C6 - KC MO. (38) Susan Tallant displayed her killer and blown 67 Firebird. (39) The silver 69 Camaro of Tim Schmidt is looking good just sitting still.
(40) This 58 Chevy spells 1950s over and over, owener is Rita Frizzeu from Independence MO. (41) Rod and Suzy Phelps are enjoying cruising the grounds in Suzy's decked out 47 Chevy. They are ready for the 4th of July celebration. (42) Yours truly, LIA Magaine - cruised over from Indiana in their 66 Impala 427 BB wagon.
(43 - 45) Cheryl Luce and John Potts came all the way from Battle Ground WA with their rare 26 Packard Boattail Speedster packing a Viper V10.
(46) This is David Haptonstall's definition of slammed to the ground. This is one bad boulevard cruiser... 56 Chevy pkup runs a 350/350 combo. (47) LIA Lady - Julia loves to interact with the gals and guys at the shows. (48) This is a fresh ride out of the garage of Samson Design. Owners of this beautiful 56 are Don and Judy Holmes.
